Preparing your home for sale is one of the most
important steps you can take to increase the potential
sale price of your home. We believe this so strongly,
that its the first point in our marketing plan.
Over the years, we have found that homes which
are staged and ready for the market, sell more
quickly and for more money than homes that are
not prepared. Although there are other important
factors, staging is Priority One.
During our initial meeting, we will determine
the sale price of your home, talk about our marketing
strategy and discuss staging opportunities. Staging
can be as simple as removing knick-knacks or de-cluttering
busy spaces to moving furniture, a fresh coat
of paint or new carpet.
"In August 2005,
after three unsuccessful months on the market,
my husband and I decided to re-list our home with
the Borys Team. We had already closed and moved
into our new home, so unfortunately our first
home was vacant. The Borys Team strongly recommended
that we stage the home, so potential buyers could
better visualize what could be done to decorate
the home. I had heard conflicting opinions about
the value of staging, but we trusted the expertise
of our new realtors and made the decision to have
the house staged. Much to our relief and excitement,
we received an offer after only one day on the
market with the Borys Team. I fully believe the
time and effort put into staging our home was
one of the primary reasons it sold so quickly."
